Michael Webb, Development Officer

Michael Webb joined East Tennessee State University in May 2016. He is a native of Mount Airy, NC but has called East Tennessee home for over 10 years. Michael earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and History from King University. He later earned a Masters of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University. Michel currently serves at the Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences at ETSU. In this role, he serves as the chief fundraiser for the 19 departments, three Centers of Excellence, two museums, the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts and the Slocumb Art Galleries. Prior to this position, Michael served King University for six years in a multitude of roles with his final position being the Director of Alumni Relations. Michael resides in Blountville, Tennessee with his wife, Dr. Shauna Nefos Webb, their son James Marion and their dog, Teddy.
