Kelli C. Styron

Kelli C. Styron, Dean for the College of Liberal and Fine Arts, joined Tarleton State University in 1995 and has served as a faculty member as a tenured Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, former Head of the Department of Social Work, Sociology and Criminal Justice, former recipient of the O.A. Grant Excellence in Teaching Award, and Faculty Senate President. Kelli completed two years of service as the first Executive Director of Compliance, Evaluation, and Institutional Reporting in the Division of Enrollment and Information Management where she chaired the Compliance Committee for the SACS reaffirmation effort, dealt with many areas of compliance, and worked in the areas of Public Information, Record Retention, and Institutional Effectiveness. Styron was appointed to her current position in 2011 and is currently overseeing six academic departments, one school, two radio stations, two endowed chairs and just completed over $20,000,000 in vital construction to the campus buildings with the college. Styron received her Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in 1994.
