Anita DeAngelis, Associate Dean for the Arts, College of Arts and Sciences

Anita DeAngelis joined the faculty in the Department of Art and Design at East Tennessee State University in 1994. She is the Associate Dean of the Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Executive Director of the Mary B. Martin School of the Arts, now in its ninth season of presenting performing, visual, and literary arts events and activities for the university and community. She received her MFA from Arizona State University (printmaking), her BFA from the University of Texas at Austin (studio art), and she attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in Skowhegan, Maine. Her previous teaching positions include Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota and East Texas State University, Commerce, Texas (now Texas A&M-Commerce). Anita and her husband reside in Elizabethton, Tennessee with their two retired racing greyhounds.
